Nestor and Armando showed us a great time on the boat. It was awesome!!!! Beautiful water, interesting fish, and a great vibe 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for adventure on their trip.

The Explorean is a great resort! It has all the perks (All-inclusive, pools, beach access, etc) with 2 unique qualities. First, excursions are *included* in AI fees! We did the snorkel tour and the trike island tour (with tequila tasting!) and they were fabulous! Staff were outstanding including Armando and Ariel! The 2nd aspect that is unique is that the resort sits just behind Fiesta Americana. The Explorean is FA's quieter sister! It's peaceful, relaxing, more of a boutique setting. If you want the party atmosphere, you have full access to Fiesta Americana - their shows, restaurants, beach access (3 minute walk), pools. The 2 resorts together make this one of our favorite places to come.

We have had a wonderful experience at The Explorean Cozumel. The food is wonderful. The service is excellent. The activities are super fun with our tour guides Edgar, Ariel, and an Alejandro. The walk to the beach is less than 3 minutes. The jungle feel of The Explorian is a new experience for us that we have enjoyed. We did not think it was buggy and never used our bug spray. We have a cute little frog that comes to the light outside our room and eats the bugs most nights. Wi-Fi throughout the resort and rooms has been reliable. We thought we would miss having a TV so we brought our laptop to watch our streaming services. We never even turned it on. Thank you Explorian for a lovely time. We will be back.

Ended up here randomly just looking for all inclusive Cozumel and couldn't be happier. Had a brunch at a "fancier" resort and the explorian was so much nicer. Our room in the jungle was better than someplace that looks like any hotel anywhere. The staff were all super friendly and super nice. Food was great and plenty of options. Will come back. Do the included excursions! And our concierge Leonardo May was very helpful.

Tired resort-missed opportunity to shine
Food choices and staff seemed tired....needing a total overhaul, nothing outstanding...comfortable beds and a quiet jungle view....staff in the sister resort Fiesta much more friendly and helpful...meals at the beach and beach service very nice
